| A brilliantly sharp film with an equally fantastic tonal scale. This is the latest incarnation of the late Pan-F which was known as an overrated, contrasty and not-to-sharp product. Finally someone at Ilford Ltd. smelled the coffee and came up with Pan F +. Which is a legitimate 50 speed film . Most photographers rated Pan F, the original, at a generous EI 32 and it's sharpness and grain didn't even compare with T-Max films. Unfortunately this film is only available in 120 and 35mm. A print from a 4X5 would exude tonality that could probably be matched only by Agfa's (now discontinued) APX-25. | ||||
