| Unfortunately I haven't had much luck with Ilford's Delta
films. While they are 'good' I don't think that they are any better than any
other film on the market. Kodak's T-Max films are finer grained and sharper
and Agfa's APX films have more latitude in processing and contrast manipulation
and in general a cheaper. The only way that I could get quality results with this film was to expose it at an EI 200 and develop it in HC110 Dilution B for 7 minutes. Which seems like a long time for that dilution/EI combo. So while I did like the fine grain and sharpness, I can 'push' T-Max 100 to EI200 and have a negative almost identical in grain and much sharper than the overrated Delta 400. | |
