Ansco 130
| The single most popular developer of all time may well be Ansco 130 . And why
not ?! If it was good enough for Mr. Adams I guess it's good enough for me ! The
normal dilution for this stock is 1:1, but can be used in any concentration to alter
contrast and image tone. Keep the working solution above 65F as glycin is pretty
sensitive to temperature and will stop working completely below 60F. By the way,
I'd mix this just before use and start with the sulfite then carbonate then glycin.
Glycin can be a real pain to get into solution. The alkali helps a lot. |
