| This is a modification of a formula I found in the '69 Focal encyclopedia for a Glycin based formula which originally
included Pot. Carbonate for which I have substituted Sod. metaborate. Also this solution will keep much better as a divided-stock developer rather than the original concentrate that Focal specified. As for starting dilutions I would recommend a dilution of 1 part A to 1 part B to 8 parts water and start around 45 minutes at 68. A higher compensation effect can be realized with a dilution of 1 part A to 1 part B to 50 parts water for about 4.5 hours. | |
