Agfa used to occasionally do something that made sense and this is one of them ! Here we have a good balance between preservative, developer and accelerator with just enough anti-foggant to keep some order during a long development time. Although I haven't had time to test this formula, it's next on the list. I strongly suspect that it will give good contrast, excellent sharpness and good speed. A modification I have in mind would be to split the formula and decrease the amount of pot. carbonate to about 3/4g per liter of developer. Starting times at 68F are; TMX-100 14.0min.TMY-400 16.0min. |
